20 long yearsI am a fan of this series for 20 years so its funny to read the gaimon chapter and actually realize for how long I am following this story。 More than 20 years soon 30!! I also believe that the gaimon chapter hints to the one piece and I also believe that the straw hat is the key to one piece!! The fascinating thing about one piece is that as time is progressing early chapters make more and more sense now and fundamental story elements were implemented early on!!! Phenomenal!!

Shanks gets a back story, Buggy is defeated and probably one of the worst characters to exist joins the crew。 Aside that, a lot of random and fun things happened in this volume。

This is such an interesting and fun volume! It wraps the previous arc and begins the Syrup Island arc。 I enjoyed the newly introduced characters, especially Usopp。 Even though the story switched to a slower pace after Luffy's battle with Buggy, I had a good time just following these characters to where they are heading to。 I didn't expect that this volume will contain several references to fables, fairy tales, and perhaps even the king of pop himself。 This is such an interesting and fun volume!

Luffy finishes the fight with Captain Buggy, and now he, Nami and Zolo are sailing toward another island where they meet Usopp and the troubles that he brings with him。

Each volume I pick up, I keep wanting more!

Definitely one of the weaker One Piece volumes - features the sub-par Buggy vs Luffy fight, the weird one-off filler story with Gaimon (Oda's favourite character! Lmao), and the beginning of the Usopp story which on top of being the weakest part of the East Blue Arc (in my opinion) we don't even get to the good stuff until Volume 4。With that said, we still get some great stuff like the Buggy flashback, the introduction of the map of the world (VERY MY SHIT), and this is still one piece, it's sti Definitely one of the weaker One Piece volumes - features the sub-par Buggy vs Luffy fight, the weird one-off filler story with Gaimon (Oda's favourite character! The big great liar Usopp got introduced。 The series is getting better and better。

A fun and adventurous volume。 The series is very fast paced and maybe wouldn’t be too hard to catch up to the most recent volumes。。。

Kat

I completely forgot how dense Oda made even the first volumes of One Piece。 We get the conclusion to the Buggy vs。 Luffy fight, and it’s fun to see that Luffy was a cut above the rest early on in the story。 Also, Usopp!! The original 5 Strawhat pirate crew members are slowly being assembled and it fills my heart with nostalgia just reading it again。

*3。5 stars。This book was a bit better than the last one (mostly because of Buggy the Clown being finally rid of)。 I don't really have anything else to say。 So。。。。 yeah。 *3。5 stars。This book was a bit better than the last one (mostly because of Buggy the Clown being finally rid of)。 I don't really have anything else to say。 So。。。。 yeah。 。。。more

Usopp gets introduced in this volume。 I find it amazing just how much foreshadowing there is in here for later events。 Usopp predicts much of the series' plot points with his rantings about how great he is。 Oda has an incredible attention to detail in One Piece that I admire a lot。 This is an iconic volume, and I also love the title (not sure if it's a The Who reference, but judging by how many references Oda does, I think it's likely)。 Usopp gets introduced in this volume。 I find it amazing just how much foreshadowing there is in here for later events。 Usopp predicts much of the series' plot points with his rantings about how great he is。 Oda has an incredible attention to detail in One Piece that I admire a lot。 This is an iconic volume, and I also love the title (not sure if it's a The Who reference, but judging by how many references Oda does, I think it's likely)。 。。。more

Nota: 4,5 / 5,0 estrelasEste é o terceiro volume da série que vai seguir as aventuras do Bando do Chápeu de Palha na jornada para chegar ao One Piece。 Luffy tem o sonho de se tornar o Rei dos Piratas e para isso começou a juntar uma tripulação para entrar na Grand Line。 Previamente conhecemos Luffy e Zoro que acaba de se juntar ao bando, assim como Nami que está "colaborando" com eles, mas não é membro segundo ela mesma。 Neste volume temos o final da luta contra o pirata Buggy, o palhaço, e em s Nota: 4,5 / 5,0 estrelasEste é o terceiro volume da série que vai seguir as aventuras do Bando do Chápeu de Palha na jornada para chegar ao One Piece。 Luffy tem o sonho de se tornar o Rei dos Piratas e para isso começou a juntar uma tripulação para entrar na Grand Line。 Previamente conhecemos Luffy e Zoro que acaba de se juntar ao bando, assim como Nami que está "colaborando" com eles, mas não é membro segundo ela mesma。 Neste volume temos o final da luta contra o pirata Buggy, o palhaço, e em seguida a chegada a ilha onde mora Ussop que é filho de piratas e tem o hábito de contar eventuais mentiras por diversão。 Descobrimos que alguém da ilha está tramando um plano e a chegada de outro navio pirata pode complicar as coisas。 Gostei muito desse volume e faltou muito pouco para as cinco estrelas, mas acredito que foi por se tratar do final de uma batalha e o começo de outra eu fiquei esperando mais。 Os personagens são incríveis, e o enredo estava ótimo também。Rating: 4。5 / 5。0 starsThis is the third volume of the series that will follow the adventures of Bando do Chápeu de Palha on the journey to reach One Piece。 Luffy has the dream of becoming the King of the Pirates and for that he started to join a crew to enter the Grand Line。 Previously we met Luffy and Zoro who just joined the band, as well as Nami who is "collaborating" with them, but is not a member according to herself。 In this volume we have the end of the fight against the pirate Buggy, the clown, and then the arrival on the island where Ussop lives, who is the son of pirates and has the habit of telling eventual lies for fun。 We found out that someone on the island is plotting a plan and the arrival of another pirate ship can complicate things。I really liked this volume and it was very close to the five stars, but I believe it was because it was the end of a battle and the beginning of another one that I was waiting for more。 The characters are amazing, and the storyline was great too。 。。。more
